How do I clean and care for my Carbon Fiber Parts?
All of our products have several coats of high gloss automotive clear coat to protect it. These can be washed and waxed just like you would the exterior of your car. The clear coat can also scratch just like your car, so only use soft nonabrasive products on the finish. We recommend a clean microfiber towel and quality polishes. We recommend polishing by hand.
What is carbon fiber?
Carbon Fiber Defined--An extremely strong, thin fiber, consisting of long, chainlike molecules of pure carbon that are made by charring synthetic fibers such as rayon in the absence of oxygen. Carbon fibers are used in high-strength composite materials in aircraft, automobiles, architectural structures, and in other applications where light materials capable of withstanding high stress are required.
I notice that some of the fibers are different, is this normal?
Each piece of carbon fiber is unique. Much like leather, each piece of Carbon Fiber has unique characteristics. No two pieces will be a like. The grain in the Carbon Fiber will change depending on the curvature of the piece being worked. These pieces are not made on an assembly line or in a cookie cutter fashion. Since each piece is hand worked through each phase of the process, any variations should be seen as a mark of craftsmanship, not a defect.
Do you offer a core charge refund?
Yes, for most parts we produce in carbon fiber we offer a core charge refund. The core charge is built into the price of each item. You pay the full price and then once we receive your core item, we will refund you the amount of the core refund. We will pay you via paypal, or a credit card refund depending how you paid. All items must be returned without broken tabs, missing pieces, vinyl, or glue on the pieces. Please contact us for more information.
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes, We ship worldwide. We have shipped to Kuwait, Italy, Brazil, Spain, Mexico, Canada and other countries. Please contact us for a shipping quote for your country.
What is your return Policy?
We will take undamaged, non installed cf back as a refund or exchange within 14 days of delivery. Once installed, there are no refunds. Custom pieces cannot be retuned. The nature of custom work are usually one off pieces we don't have on the website. Therefore, these pieces are non-refundable. Please contact us for more information.
Please contact us before filing a claim with paypal. Most transactions can be worked out easily.
20% restocking fee on all returns. Selling (paypal) fees are not refundable. Shipping not refundable. Buyer pays for shipping back to our facility.
